1. Introduction
Welcome to Holycat (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms,” “Agreement,” or “EULA”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and bys7 Studio regarding your use of the Holycat mobile application available on the Apple App Store.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Holycat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
3. License Grant
3.1 Grant of License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, bys7 Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Holycat on your personal iOS device for your personal, non-commercial use.
3.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, adapt, alter, translate, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, assign, distribute, or transfer the App or rights granted hereunder
- Use the App in violation of applicable laws or regulations
4. App Features
Holycat may include features such as:
- Daily Affirmations and Prayers: Read and save affirmations and prayers
- Daily Verse: View a verse of the day (where available)
- Todo List: Create personal todo items and routines
- Mood Tracker: Track moods and reflections over time
- Daily Streaks: Maintain streaks for consistent practice
- AI Faith Chat: A faith-based companion to help you navigate reflection and encouragement (see Section 5)
- Music Library: Licensed meditational songs for listening within the App (see Section 6)
- Mental Wellbeing Report: On-demand insights based on your on-device activity (see Section 7)
Features may change over time. Some features may be available only in certain App versions or regions.
5. AI Faith Chat
Holycat offers an optional AI chat designed as a faith-based companion to help you navigate personal reflection and spiritual encouragement—not as a medical or clinical service.
For chat purposes, the feature collects only basic details you choose to provide:
- Name, as you enter it for the session
- Current mood, at the time of the conversation
The AI chat does not collect other personal data for chat purposes. All chat messages are stored exclusively on your device and are automatically deleted after two (2) days. We do not upload or retain your chat conversations on our servers.
No medical or prescription advice: The AI chatbot does not provide medical advice and never recommends or prescribes medication, supplements, or prescriptions of any kind. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or emergency care. If you need medical help, contact a qualified healthcare provider or emergency services.

6. Music Library
Holycat includes a music library of licensed meditational songs for personal listening within the App. Tracks are provided under applicable licenses; you may not copy, redistribute, or use them outside the App except as permitted by law or the rights holder.
Playback does not require you to upload personal audio. Use of the music library is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
7. Mental Wellbeing Report
When you request an overall mental wellbeing report, the App may use on-device information—such as your app usage patterns, tasks you have completed, and an AI-generated summary of your journal entries—to produce a report focused on mental wellbeing insights only. These reports do not include physical health assessments or clinical diagnoses.
The AI does not collect or store this information on our servers. Data is read only at the moment you request a report, used to generate that report, and then immediately deleted from processing. We do not retain copies of your journal content, task history, or usage data for report generation beyond that single, on-demand request.
Reports are for personal reflection only. They are not medical advice and should not be relied on for treatment decisions.
8. Important Disclaimers (Mood Tracker & Wellbeing)
Holycat is intended for spiritual encouragement, habit-building, and personal reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional counseling advice. The AI faith chat and mental wellbeing reports are for personal reflection only—they are not clinical tools and must not be used to diagnose, treat, or manage any health condition.
The AI chatbot will not recommend medication, supplements, or prescriptions. Mood tracking and wellbeing reports reflect patterns in your App activity and journal summaries; they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.
If you are experiencing a crisis or need immediate help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
9. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Maintain backups of your data if you choose (we are not responsible for device loss/failure)
- Not use the App to create or store illegal, harmful, or abusive content
- Not interfere with or disrupt the App or its security features
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design and software, is owned by bys7 Studio and is protected by intellectual property laws. Holycat and related branding may be trademarks of bys7 Studio.
Your Content: You retain ownership of the personal content you create in the App (such as affirmations, notes, todo items, and mood entries). The App processes this content locally on your device. If you share content with us for support, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to assist you.
Scripture / Verse Content: Any scripture text, verse references, or related content displayed in the App may be owned by third parties and subject to their terms. You agree not to reproduce or distribute such content except as permitted by applicable rights.
Music Library: Meditational songs and related audio in the App are licensed for in-App use. You do not acquire ownership of that audio by using the App.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall bys7 Studio or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15.2 Venue
You agree that disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

These Terms are between you and bys7 Studio, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
